Abstract















The objective of science learning process is to achieve student's scientific literacy. But at school, the objective only focused on the concept and less attention of student's thinking skills. Beside the learning activities not integrated science through Environment Science Technology Society (SETS). Because of that, development of a scientific attitude, practicing the troubleshooting process, and the application of science in real life are absent in a classroom. The quality of learning should be supported by teachers, students, teaching materials, facilities and infrastructure, as well as the approach used. SETS approach are processes, concepts, attitudes, relevance, creativity, and applications, wich integrated in the science learning process will improve environmental literacy. SETS approach will be one of many solution to solve this problem to create the environmental literacy skill in a classroom.
