This is a research about an analysis of transposition and modulation used by the translator in the translation of Oriflame products direction. The aims of this research are first to identify the impacts of transposition and modulation used in the Oriflame direction toward the quality of translation, consumers, and the target of sales. The second purpose of the research is to identify the quality of the Oriflame direction in the matters of accuracy and acceptability, and the last purpose is to identify which technique is better toward the accuracy and acceptability. The method applied in the research is descriptive qualitative. The data sources of this research are texts of Oriflame direction for use, and informers. The result of this research shows that the transposition and modulation used by the translator have some impacts to the quality of translation, consumers and the target of sale. This research implicates that it is important for the translator to exhaustively learn the products of Oriflame so that the terms related to the cosmetic could be translated using the accurate and the acceptable equivalence. It is intended to make the consumers use Oriflame precisely, thus they are satisfied. As the result, it could raise the rate of sale level.
